About Ascension Alexian Brothers

800 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove, IL 60007, US

Mission Statement

Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health care ministry is dedicated to spiritually-centered, wholistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and our words.

Ascension Alexian Brothers Volunteer Program plays a critical role in assisting and supporting various departments within the Medical Center.

Our Volunteers
A talented and generous group of adults and students volunteer at Ascension Alexian Brothers each year and make a difference in the lives of our patients, their friends, families, and our staff. They are active in the customer service areas, provide exceptional office and clerical support, assist on nursing floors and outpatient care departments, and participate in the weekly sewing workshop where a group assembles to craft baby hats and stuffed animals for the women, infant, and emergency room units.
