Compassus Volunteers needed to provide
1. Patient Support: Provide companionship to the patient and respite for the caregiver. Ways to help include: *Companionship Visits * Caregiver relief * Therapy Visits * Reminiscing * Emotional, spiritual and cultural support * Hair Care * Errands * Vigil visits
2. Bereavement Support: Support families and friends of deceased patients. During the grieving process, the volunteer is an invaluable resource, especially for those who lack a solid support network. Ways to help include Bereaved phone calls and/or visits * Bereavement mailings & Assist with Remembrance Gathering events.
3. Administrative Support: Help the staff through working in the office. Ways to help include: Office tasks * Community events * Special projects.
