This position supports the Regional Manufacturing department. The Administrative Assistant Volunteer works to complete projects in support of the Manufacturing Lab to advance efforts to accomplish the goals of records management and the mission of the American Red Cross.
Responsibilities:
- The manufacturing labs consist of the General Manufacturing Lab, Quality Control Lab, Quarantine and Labeling Lab, and the Hospital Services Lab which all work together to provide safe and quality blood products to our customers.
- Complete special projects to assist and support the manufacturing labs.
- We have numerous regulated documents that need to be organized in a way to provide traceability of a blood product if needed.
- Broad understanding of the American Red Cross and its services.
- Enthusiastic about the American Red Cross mission and programs
- Interest in learning and working on projects.
- Detail-oriented, thorough, and reliable.
This shift is every Tuesday from 9:00AM - 12PM with the ability to adjust schedule between the hours of 9A - 2:30P as needed.
