About Gen-Z for Financial Literacy

27 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920, US

Mission Statement

We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to raise awareness on the importance of financial literacy, advocate for state-mandated personal finance classes, and bridge the wealth gap caused by a lack of financial know-how.

First, we're going to advocate for increasing financial literacy education:

  • Giving people the information, tools, and resources to petition their local representatives, elected officials, and governors to mandate financial literacy classes as a high school graduation requirement

  • Working directly with elected officials to push for legislation mandating financial literacy classes

  • Utilizing social media to encourage people to learn more about personal finance and our efforts

Next, we're going to do our part in increasing financial literacy:
  • Our monthly business and financial news magazine

  • Our "Money Moves" Podcast

  • Fundraising for the Council for Economic Education (CEE) and the National Business Education Association (NBEA)
