Overview: One of our organization's primary goals is to make personal finance classes a required part of high school curriculums. Phone and emailing banking interns will be responsible for reaching out to elected officials in states that do not already required personal finance classes. They will be responsible for conveying the importance of financial literacy in today's youth, whether it be over the phone or via email.
Required Skills: 1) ability to speak and communicate effectively, 2) ability to write in a way that is both understandable and impactful, 3) ability to work with other phone and email banking interns to coordinate efforts and impact the maximum number of people.
Required Experience: Experience in public relations or email/phone banking is preferred, but not mandated. Previous experience working with other organizations or companies is also not required.

Gen-Z for Financial Literacy is committed to increasing financial literacy rates in the youth. We are a 501(c)(3) charity and an official President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Certifying Organization. Gen-Z for Financial Literacy is also financially backed by a nonprofit & start-up accelerator .
Though Gen-Z for Financial Literacy is based in the United States, we have staff worldwide who help fuel our movement. Our team comprises people from over a dozen different countries-all working toward one common goal: raising financial literacy rates in Gen-Z.
