Faith Hospice volunteer program is looking for compassionate, caring members of our communities (Greater Kansas City MO area, Kansas City KS, Overland Park KS, Topeka KS, and many other communities, who are interested in hospice volunteering! Do you have an interest in spending time with patients? Do you love engaging in a variety of activities or have a favorite one you’d like to share? Would you like to lend a helping hand in our office? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, Faith Hospice is looking for you!
Hospice volunteers can perform many tasks, here are just a couple examples:
-Companionship
-Write letters/make phone calls
-Weekly friendly visits
-Offer family a 2 hour break
If visiting with patients is not something you're interested in, we also offer volunteer opportunities in our office!
-You must be 16
-Pass background check
-Have valid ID

Hospice volunteers have a very special gift to share. YOUR time! Patients who are diagnosed with a terminal illness need comforting and reassuring hand.
Faith Hospice volunteers are urgently needed.
We are experts with heart, which places our patients and families at the center of all we do.
Faith Hospice is a service, not a place, for terminally ill patients. We serve patients and their families by addressing the physical. psychological, social and Spiritual aspects of end-of-life care.
Our care rises above the ordinary, because we are enlightened by you: Your story, becomes our story.
Your values, become our values. In this spirit of care, we offer true compassion and a full presence with you on your journey, that builds trust, renews home and brings peace through the process of death and dying as well as grief and loss.
