As a private, non-profit organization, the Humane Society of Summit County relies heavily of the support of volunteers. As a Cat Care Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work directly with cats to make their stay at the shelter more comfortable and less stressful. Duties include cage cleaning, feeding, enrichment and socialization, dishes and laundry as assigned.

- morning / 07:30 AM to 09:30 AM
- morning / 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- afternoon / 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM
- afternoon / 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
- evening / 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM
- evening / 06:30 PM to 08:30 PM

Founded in 1968, the Humane Society of Summit County is a private non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for animals that are victims of cruelty, abuse, injured and illness in Summit County. As a no time limit shelter, we keep mentally, physically, healthy and adoptable animals until they find homes.
