As a private, non-profit organization, the Humane Society of Summit County relies heavily on the help of volunteers to rescue over 2,700 animals every year. We are doing laundry around the clock to provide fresh beddings for our animals. You can help us on our mission to continue to rescue the severely sick and injured animals of summit county by assisting with washing, drying, and folding laundry at the shelter.

Founded in 1968, the Humane Society of Summit County is a private non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for animals that are victims of cruelty, abuse, injured and illness in Summit County. As a no time limit shelter, we keep mentally, physically, healthy and adoptable animals until they find homes.
