Hospice patients and their families are in need of a friendly volunteer to visit them. Volunteers spend time with patients to offer companionship and support. This could include reading a short story, bringing a cupcake on their birthday, playing cards, taking a patient outside to enjoy the nice weather and overall becoming a cherished companion. Volunteers typically visit once a week. The volunteer helps not only the patient but also their family.
Joining the Capital Caring Health volunteer team will bring you in contact with other amazing volunteers. You will be joining team which will support you and appreciate your work. We are a fun group for sure!
