Video Operators
Each show has two video operators, V1 and V2. V1 is the primary video operator responsible for the entire broadcast. V1 prepares for the show following a provided checklist beginning 90 minutes before live broadcast. V1 remotes into Wirecast, our production software, frames the hosts, prepares and switches between shots, and oversees the entirety of the broadcast. Shows run for 90 minutes. The V1 provides a copy of the video to the audio team, archives the show locally and on the cloud, and uploads and prepares video copy for Patreon, and executes any necessary "clean up" from the show. The Video copilot (V2) is on standby should V1 need to step away, face technical issues, and be prepared to take over the broadcast as needed. Training provided.

Welcome to the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to promoting positive atheist culture and the separation of religion and government.
The ACA serves the local Austin community through outreach programs, providing informational resources and various volunteer activities. In addition, the ACA serves the community-at-large through free online portals including regular audio/video podcasts and social media. We are affiliated with a number of national and international groups devoted to atheism, freethought, or secular humanism.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. We see that people can be compassionate, giving, and live happy lives without a god belief. We see that we can have community with each other and work towards a common goal.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Time Commitment: Minimum of 3.5 hours per week. Shifts available Sundays, 11:30 am-3 pm or 3-6:30 pm; Wednesdays, 7-9:30 pm; Thursdays 5:30-9 pm, or Fridays 5:30 -9 pm. All times are U.S. Central Time.
- Technical Requirements: Video Operators must have a working computer capable of running Discord and Chrome Remote Desktop, high speed internet, and a headset with mic. A webcam is helpful, but not required.
