This activity takes place in a long term care community primarily working with Memory Care residents. Staff and volunteers assist residents with creative painting, sculpting, drawing and other crafting projects. The goal is to encourage the resident to enjoy the creation rather than to focus on the perfect product. The volunteers will help with program set up, distribution of supplies, and providing advice and guidance to residents. If you like seeing someone smile as they discover they too can create, then this is a perfect match for you.
