Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County, Inc.
The success of Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County depends on the compassionate hearts and willingness to share time and resources from community minded individuals. Friendly volunteers compassionately deliver more than 52,000 meals each year to clients in all eight communities of HamiltonCounty. Nutritious meals are delivered on a short-term or long-term basis, five days a week, Monday through Friday, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to those unable to prepare a meal for themselves. Drivers donate their time, vehicle and gas to extend a helping hand and check on the well-being of clients who receive meals.
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid drivers license and adequate insurance on their vehicles. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is retired, a stay-at-home mom (take kids along), or anyone with a flexible daytime schedule. For more info, call 317-776-7159.
