Veterinary Community Outreach 501(c)3 is a non-profit veterinary service provider who provides low-cost vaccines to the community. We are seeking a few volunteers who would be interested in committing a few days/shifts periodically (as needed) for our vaccine clinics. We typically have 3-4 vaccine clinics in Berryville, VA. We have clinics on certain Wednesdays from 4-6pm, with volunteers arriving by 3:30 and leaving by 6:30. Certain Saturdays 10a-12pm in Berryville, with volunteers arriving by 10:30am and leaving by 12:30pm. We also try to travel 1x a month to other communities (Martinsburg, WV, Charles Town, WV, Winchester, VA, and others). The events and dates are planned weeks out with plenty of preparation. There will be training provided and plenty of supportive volunteers and board members to assist with anything you may need. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in veterinary medicine, but may not have a lot of time to dedicate. This is a great place to learn and grow from, as everyone involved are currently or previously in veterinary medicine. Your role would primarily be paperwork, crowd control, and overall flow of the clinic, with growth opportunities depending on your skills. Ideally, we would have volunteers who remain more consistent with us, who are able to stick with us as we grow.

Mission Statement
Veterinary Community Outreach (VCO) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization which provides low-cost/no-cost preventative veterinary services to low income families in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia and surrounding areas.
Description
Our dedicated team consists of a Veterinarian, a Licensed Veterinarian Technician, our Outreach Coordinator, and Digital Media and Marketing Coordinator, along with a team of dedicated volunteers. All of these individuals dedicate their time and are committed to helping animals and owners in need.
With knowledge and understanding of the animal-human bond, and the growing need for accessible preventative Veterinary care, our founders have created this organization to provide basic preventative care to those with financial limitations. Charitable grants will be sought to fund the material cost for preventative care, while professional services will be provided largely on a volunteer basis.
