ORGANIZATION: FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY OF INFLAMMATORY DISEASE

  • Research and maintain lists of brain injury-related legislation at the local, state, and national levels
  • Track current information on news related to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and other brain injury therapies
  • Contact Veteran Service Organizations to get current Contact Information for leadership
  • Facilitate conference calls focused on writing and drafting state and national brain injury legislation
  • Develop Social Media content and strategies targeted at brain injured Veterans and Veteran Service Organizations
  • Conduct outreach to partner organizations and clinics to grow the coalition and discuss targeted donations aimed at helping wounded Veterans
  • Outreach to law firms to solicit pro bono legal help aimed at helping brain injured veterans
  • Research selected topics for blogs
  • Write and edit wide-distribution emails
  • Record testimonials of Veterans before, during, after treatments
  • Guide brain-injured Veterans and caregivers seeking help through administrative and logistical processes
  • Follow-up with Veterans as they go through clinical treatments
  • Coordinate outreach and treatment efforts with clinics
  • Coordinate and communicate with national donors

Description

Our goals are to: facilitate collaboration among researchers, clinical practices, and testing laboratories; apply advanced information technologies to accumulate and analyze longitudinal clinical data; disseminate insights into the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases; accelerate application of clinical and research findings into patient care; and serve as a resource for clinicians, researchers and the interested public.
