The City of Gardena is looking for fully vaccinated volunteers to drive their own vehicles to assist in carrying out the Home-Delivered Meals program for Gardena's homebound residents. Current need is Wednesdays from 9:30am to 1pm. Must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license, personal vehicle with current insurance. All volunteers will be subject to a LiveScan background check and fingerprinting through the Gardena Police Department prior to any shifts.

To provide high quality, low-cost recreation, leisure, and human services programs that meet the changing needs and interests of a diverse and growing community.
The Recreation and Human Services Department is responsible for supervised recreational activities at six parks with community buildings, two gymnasiums, one parkette, one large two-story community center, and one municipal swimming pool. The Human Services Division consists of the Senior Citizens Bureau, the Youth and Family Services Bureau, and the Gardena Family Childcare program.
