Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality Therapeutic Riding and Equine Assisted Activities. Our mission is to empower children and adults with disabilities to enjoy more active and fulfilling lives through therapeutic horsemanship.
We are looking for a few barn assistants help with feeding horses, cleaning stalls, washing buckets, and any other general tasks our barn staff need assistance with. Barn assistants will work on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 - 4:30 with potential to choose a different afternoon if needed.You can find our volunteer application and more information on getting started here: https://www.catr-program.org/start-volunteering. Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. CATR gives children and adults with disabilities the freedom of movement and joy of accomplishment that many of us take for granted. Certified professional staff, nationally accredited programs, and dedicated volunteers help students improve and build on their abilities with the most patient teacher of all, the horse.
