Marketing Communication Specialists - NGO Medicine Shortage Program

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: World Infectious Disease Monitoring Organization (WoIDMo)

  • 4 people are interested

Our NGO is about to embark on a large multi-year project to alleviate shortages of essential and critical care medicines. To support these activities we are looking for volunteer marketing/communications specialists to help shape our communication about this program and better engage the general public, potential donors, investors and governments.

Drug supply issues have always been there but they are becoming increasingly common, especially for older less profitable drugs that are used in emergency care and the management of infectious diseases. These shortages have a significant impact on patient care, cause deaths and disabilities, and require considerable resources to manage effectively and safely. To help solve these issues our NGO plans to start up several production facilities for essential and critical care medicines.

We are specifically looking for applicants who have at least 10 years of proven experience in shaping corporate or NGO communication. English proficiency is a must, as is excellent writing skills. Being autonomous and eager to take initiative while being comfortable to work with others is equally essential. Since this is a long duration project, please only apply if you plan to commit to making solving medicine shortages and availability of medecines as humanitarian aid your goal and feel strongly about the need to solve this problem.

Please apply with your CV.

Noordwal 10, The Hague, Zuid-Holland 2513EA, NL

Mission Statement

The World Infectious Disease Monitoring Organization (WoIDMo) is a non-profit organization, established in 2020, that brings together a network of individuals from around the world. Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of monitoring infectious diseases globally and how they affect us. One of the important aspects of our foundation is to function as an early warning system for emerging diseases. We also support development of better diagnostics and enable fast delivery of diagnostics where needed, especially where resource-limited countries are involved. For this we work together with other NGO’s that have boots on the ground. To further our understanding of infectious diseases and how to deal with them, we aim to support researchers working on projects relevant to our goals.

We are a non-political organization who's aim is to raise awareness and make a difference in ways that are as practical as possible. We can use support in multiple area's like copywriting, social media, marketing, webdesign and web app programming.
