Riverside County Advisory Council on Aging
Riverside County Office on Aging is seeking a dedicated group of volunteers consisting of:
- Older individuals
- Participants of programs provided under the Older Americans Act
- Family caregivers of older individuals
- Representatives of older individuals
- Service providers
- Business community
- Local elected officials
- Veterans’ services providers
- Health care service providers
- Members of the public.
As an advisory group, the Advisory Council on Aging has no executive, administrative, or operational authority. Its function is solely to study and make recommendations to the Office on Aging and/or the Riverside County Board of Supervisors regarding matters of concern for older adults. Specific roles include, community engagement, advocacy, outreach, and providing feedback on the Area Plan on Aging during the four-year cycle.
