We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted audiences on various social media platforms and also manage our email newsletters. Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.

Duties Include:

• Ability to develop and implement a social media strategy
• Generate, edit, publish and share weekly content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members participate, join and donate to the mission.
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
• Ability to monitor online activity to ensure following established guidelines and rules
• Encourage greater social media participation
• Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand’s social media strategy.
• Coordinating, creating and sending out weekly email newsletters

Requirements

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Fluency in English
