Mission Statement

A Voice for Hope's mission is to enhance the community in which we serve by providing and developing programs to assist victims of domestic violence and child abuse. A Voice for Hope wants to become a voice for the voiceless, hope for the hopeless, and a beacon of light for those suffering in silence. We aim to empower women and children and lead them on a road to success.

Description

The Executive Director, Brenice Morciglio Lecea, is a survivor of domestic violence. In 2006, she buried a son due to domestic violence and became homeless with her two daughters. Her passion comes from her first-hand experience. She has been in the industry for more than six years and has garnered experience over time. Our goal for the organization and the women we serve is to empower survivors of domestic violence through advocacy, education, and career pathways.

A Voice for Hope is a 501(C) (3) organization that is registered in Texas with an operation scope that spans entire Texas. We are a non-profit organization that offers to create a safe haven for women and children affected by domestic violence. We want to provide wrap-around services to address their immediate safety and psychological needs while providing shelter and basic needs. We will also provide a career pathway that will allow them the opportunity to earn life skills.
