We need a camp medical officer for the week of camp. Responsibilities include dispensing camper medication and providing basic first aid for any injuries or illnesses.
Camp 42 is staffed and run entirely by adult volunteers (ages 18 and up) who take time off work or school to guide, challenge, listen to, chase after, and play outside with a big group of energetic, freethinking kids (and energetic, freethinking kids-at-heart!).
This is the type of camp you may have wished you had a child! Now you have the opportunity to provide this experience to today's youth. Being a camp staff member is a powerfully rewarding role as you transform the lives of campers. Together, we redefine normal and change the world!

Change the world by providing a reason-based inclusive camp experience designed to create caring and inquisitive humans who want to create a compassionate and innovative future with a connection to the natural world.
Description
Camp 42 is a place for exploring life, the universe, and everything! We are a unique overnight summer camp that presents our educational programs from a specifically secular and humanist perspective. This means that we weave elements of critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and social justice throughout our traditional summer camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, games, swimming, nature walks, outdoor skills, and campfires.
Our goal is to provide a place where kids can explore their developing worldviews and how to put their values into practice, ask questions, and make friends in a supportive environment. We offer a Leadership Training program to our 16-17yo campers.
Camp 42 is staffed by adult volunteers who take time off work or school to guide, challenge, listen to, chase after, and play outside with a big group of energetic, freethinking kids.
We believe in the inherent dignity of each person and are LGBTQ-friendly. We embrace each camper and staff member as they are, regardless of where they fall on the spectrums of gender identity and sexual orientation. We began offering an all-gender cabin in 2021.
