Bayaud Enterprises was founded in 1969 to alleviate barriers to self-sufficiency for adults living with mental health, intellectual and physical disabilities. Soon after, Bayaud expanded services to single adults and families who are rebuilding from poverty, homelessness, past incarceration, or past addictions. Our mission is to create Hope, Opportunity, and Choice, with work as the means through which people with disabilities and other hurdles to employment can more fully participate in the mainstream of life.Our programs and social enterprises advance the self-sufficiency, health and wellness, and life goals of the people we serve.
As a social media and marketing volunteer you will be on the planning level of efforts. Working alongside our Development and Communications Team. Bayaud has a beautiful mission and we need to be able to communicate that across the board in our messaging. Our goal is to have a more user friendly interface. We ask that volunteers be able to participate in a min. of 4 hrs a week. The hours are open and flexible. This may include, but not limited to scheduling content, creating content, designing marketing material for upcoming events. Description
We provide vocational rehabilitation and employment services to individuals with mental, emotional, physical and economic challenges. In doing so, we also provide an able workforce to businesses. We offer evaluation, training, placement and support services to the disabled, the homeless and those receiving qualifying government aid. Our commercial services include document destruction, news broadcast duplication and the ability to run departments such as mail-rooms or custodial crews. We are funded by earned production revenue, fees for service and grants or donations.
