Compassionate Volunteer Needed in Rodeo, CA

ORGANIZATION: Bristol Hospice - Stockton

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Bristol Hospice volunteers embrace a reverence for life and work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers and spiritual support providers who specialize in end-of-life care.
Volunteers provide companionship by reading, watching movies, recording life stories, creating memory projects and listening to music with patients. This is a wonderful opportunity for students (18+) interested in a medical career, social work or psychology. Let us know if you have a certified pet companion, if you're a Veteran, a massage therapist, a licensed cosmetologist... or you have a big heart!

Bristol Hospice is growing in San Joaquin, East Contra Costa, Amador and Calaveras Counties. Volunteer schedules are flexible to meet the needs of working adults and students.
If you’re a reliable person who can commit to three hours week - and most of all if you’re interested in providing companionship to someone at the end of their journey, call the volunteer coordinators at Stockton Bristol Hospice.
