The German American Heritage Center is looking for volunteers to help with our guest experience at our admissions desk. Greeting guests, handling admissions fees, gift shop sales and general questions about the museum are the primary tasks. Other tasks may include light cleaning, pricing gift shop items, assisting guests with additional needs, and special events help.
This opportunity is great for college students, individuals who are retired, and individuals with minor mobility issues. Volunteers should be 16 or older and comfortable interacting with the public. Docent positions are also available, for those that are interested in getting even more involved with our museum.
