LifeLong Medical Care Over 60 Health Center is looking for volunteers to help with our Veggie Giveaway (VGA). Every Monday, we do a free produce and food pantry giveaway for patients and community members. Over 60 Health Center serves low-income elderly adults and through our VGA, we hope to address food access and decrease food insecurity in the community.
The VGA has two volunteer opportunities:
1. Sundays 12-3pm: Assist with produce pick-up from Moraga and Walnut Creek Farmer's Market. Pass out crates to bread and fruit/veggie vendors, collect crates once they have been filled, and transport everything back to Over 60 to store until next day.
2. Mondays 7:30am-12pm: Assist with packing food into bags, distributing food to patients and community members outside of clinic, and clean-up.
We welcome volunteers for one or both opportunities!

LifeLong Medical Care offers a sliding scale for low income patients based on family size and income. No Patient is denied health care services based on inability to pay.
