ProMedica Hospice is looking for an intern to work in our Ann Arbor office. Interns help with most administrative and office tasks, such as answering phones, creating admissions packets, calling patients, and scanning and filing documents.
Volunteers must be at least 16-years-old. ProMedica requires all volunteers to get the annual flu shot; we offer it for free. Every volunteer, while in the office, must wear the surgical mask that ProMedica provides. All volunteers must have the COVID vaccination. Volunteers must complete a fingerprint background check (paid for by ProMedica). ProMedica provides extensive training to ensure volunteers are fully prepared for their work.

Mission Statement
Heartland Hospice provides quality care to patients with a limited life expectancy, as well as support to their families and caregivers. Formerly known as ProMedica Hospice, Heartland enhances the quality of life of those we serve through palliative and specialized supportive care designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of the patients and caregivers. Hospice care is provided by using an interdisciplinary approach in delivering care to patients--either in their own homes or extended care facilities--while working cooperatively with other health care providers and other community resources. Heartland Hospice strives to provide care to all who are eligible and need hospice care irrespective of ability to pay. Heartland is part of Gentiva Health Services.
