As a Volunteer Graphic Designer, you will join the team of digital marketing volunteers with SCORE SE Wisconsin to assist in achieving the chapter’s goals for volunteer recruitment, small business clients, website traffic, and more.

Responsibilities:

The volunteer graphic designer will create images and marketing, including email, social media, print mailers, and other materials as needed. We’re looking for someone to actively engage in digital marketing volunteer meetings to offer creative insights, advise on design best practices, and execute on graphic design assets for campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Creative thinker experienced with graphic design platforms. Familiarity with Canva would be helpful but not required
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Passion and ability to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with design/graphics trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work creatively with a team of volunteers
  • Please share with us your design portfolio/past artwork submission

SCORE provides resources for free, or at minimal cost, to help small business owners expand and grow their business. By volunteering in this role, you would make a significant impact within your local community by helping to build our team of experienced business mentors who in turn assist small businesses. We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops. The SE Wisconsin Chapter was named the 2024 Chapter of the Year.

For nearly 60 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
