We are looking for a talented singer, guitarist, and or a karaoke lover to help celebrate the skilled nursing care week and to spread joy, and enhance the daily lives of our residents. This is during meal times or before and after. Help us Brighten the day of our residents. Volunteers may also be tasked to hand out food to residents.
Skills that will help you be successful in this position:
- Ability to be objective and empathetic, and conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be sensitive to the needs of the residents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements for this type of volunteer:
- All volunteers are required to complete an initial phone screening with our Volunteer Coordinator.
- Volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Volunteers in this position are required to complete a background check.
- No volunteer is denied solely on the grounds of a criminal conviction; but the date, nature, and relevance of the offense to the positions assigned may be considered.
