Second Chance Cats of WM is looking for people who love cats and want to help give them a second chance at a forever home.
We are seeking volunteers to help care for cats and clean at our Adoption Center. Volunteers give the cats fresh food and water, administer any necessary medications, and scoop litter, as well as clean the free roaming cat rooms, all while helping to socialize and love on the cats.
We are currently looking for volunteers for all weekend shifts, Friday through Sunday, both AM and PM, as well as Monday AM and Wednesday AM.
Volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory orientation session and undergo training.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation.

Description
Welcome to Second Chance Cats of West Michigan! We are a new nonprofit cat rescue based in Grand Rapids. Our goal is to give cats in need of a little more time, patience, care, and understanding, a second chance at living a full and healthy life. Whether this is medical attention or the time and space to learn to trust again. We will not give up on these living souls. We have an all-volunteer staff, and we work closely within the community to reach all cats at risk. We are advocates for felines. Help us give these kitties a second chance for a happy and meaningful life!
