HOPE North Carolina is working on building inclusive communities where people of all ages and abilities experienced a sense of belonging. While we do not have land or housing opportunities yet, we gather supportive friends together for social events and relationship building. We meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month for a shared meal and activity. Volunteers are needed to help with set up, activities and clean up but also just to build friendships with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Description
HOPE, Housing Options for People with Exceptionalities, was begun in 2018 by a small group of parents who want to see additional housing options for people with developmental disabilities. Our goal is create an intentional, inclusive community for adults with developmental disabilities in the Triangle area of North Carolina. We have a large group of members who are all interested in being part of this type of community and we are looking for developer(s) who are interested in working with us.
