Osteoporosis affects 1-in-3 women and 1-8 men over the age of 60. Through exercise and education osteoporosis can be controlled. We need volunteers to help stop Osteoporosis. Groups meet twice a week for about one hour each. The exercises, low impact strength training is done from sitting and standing positions.
Six groups are established in Wayne County, NY: Clyde, Lyons, Newark, Red Creek, sodus and Wolcott. Plans for expansion into Ontario and Seneca County, need volunteers! Will train leaders to present the program correctly.
