The JCC Maccabi Games and Access Experience is a week of Olympic-style athletic competitions for Jewish teens coming to San Diego from around the US and other countries, including some teens with disabilities. In addition to the sports, there will be community service projects to benefit various local organizations, and evening events showcasing San Diego. Volunteers will be needed for opening and closing ceremonies, directing people to the busses to various venues, serving lunch and snacks, staffing information tables, providing medical assistance, scorekeeping, and more. Over 2,000 shifts need to be filled! Be a part of this community-building experience by volunteering! Visit jccmaccabisd.org.

The JCC is a theatre, a preschool, a library, a fitness center, a community meeting place, and much more -- our 97,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility provides a safe, positive, friendly and inviting environment for all who enter. - Volunteers can sign up for any number of shifts throughout the 6 day event. The shortest shifts are about 2.5 hours. There are about 2,000 shifts so we were unable to list them all on this form.
- Must fill out a registration form that includes background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Minimum age for evening events is 21. Volunteers do not need to be Jewish.
