Are you a whiz with Zoom and other online meeting platforms? The Illinois State Genealogical Society is looking for a Virtual Programming Support Chair! The Chair will provide technical support for ISGS' online meeting platform. Duties include coordinating ISGS meetings, educational events, and conference events, and providing other technical assistance when needed. Must be knowledgeable with the Zoom meeting platform. The Virtual Programming Support Chair also files activity reports, attends ISGS Governing Board meetings, and other meetings when requested. This position can be done remotely! Description

The Illinois State Genealogical Society (ISGS) was formed in 1968 through the cooperative effort and forward thinking of Illinois genealogical society representatives, who envisioned a statewide genealogical organization. ISGS is a not-for-profit, nonsectarian, educational organization, with members from Illinois and worldwide. ISGS supports local Associate Member societies throughout the state, and has a unique partnership with the Illinois State Archives. ISGS promotes genealogical education and our motto is, "Honoring Illinois Ancestors."
