Volunteers are a valuable asset to our Charter HealthCare Hospice Team. Our flexible program welcomes people from all walks of life to join the ranks of folks with big hearts and open arms. There are a variety of ways that you can give your time, talents, and experience:
- Companionship visits with patients
- Military veterans visiting other veterans
- Musical entertainment
- Life stories sharing
- Nail painting
- Respite services for caregivers
- Assisting with arts and crafts project
- Chaperoning outings

Description
At Charter Our Team Is Currently Seeking Hospice Volunteers. If You Are Willing To Share Some Of Your Spare Time With Patients And Families In Need, Then You Are Who We Are Looking For. Hospice Volunteers Have The Opportunity To Provide A Variety Of Services: Companionship And Support To Patients And Family Members, Spiritual Support, Bereavement Services, Administrative Support, Newsletter Publishing, Run Errands, Community Outreach and Special Projects. Volunteers Will Be Specially Trained To Provide Service In Their Area Of Interest.
Volunteers visit their assigned patient(s) at their own convenience but, we request a minimum of two visits a month for at least 30 minutes at a time. If you desire to visit more frequently or for longer periods of time, that would be wonderful!
Must be 18.
We are looking for Volunteers in the Omaha, Lincoln, and Fremont areas.
