Use Your Passion to Bring Comfort, Peace & Joy

Make an impact when it’s needed most. Join our amazing care team and bring comfort and peace to hospice patients facing life limiting illnesses.

Charter Healthcare Volunteers work with patients and their family caregivers offering companionship, conversation, support and so much more! Do you play an instrument? Love to read? Love to sing? Have a passion for arts and crafts? You can use your passion to help bring joy to someone at the most difficult time in their life.

  • You will work in patient homes or various care facilities providing friendship, listening, letter writing, reading, and talking about the patient’s life experiences.
  • Music and singing are not required but patients really love it!
  • Want to make a difference but singing isn’t your forte? We have administrative opportunities as well!
  • Use your crafting ability to create lap blankets and decorative items.
  • Don’t limit yourself! Tell us what you would love to offer our patients and we will do our best to support you in changing a patient and family’s life.
  • Comprehensive training is provided, and we offer flexibility with your schedule.

Come be a part of the care team and enhance patients and caregivers’ quality of life. All it takes is a smile to make someone’s day!

Contact us today for a life changing, meaningful volunteer experience.
