If you are interested in making a positive impact on your community, learning new skills, and meeting other like-minded people in the process, volunteering on one of our construction projects may be a great volunteer match for you!
Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis to help with new construction and critical repair projects. We have opportunities available during the week and on Saturdays. Volunteers must commit to full-day shifts, which typically last between 5 and 9 hours, including breaks.
Our new construction is taking place just 1 mile from the Newnan square. Critical repair projects are spread throughout Coweta County.
No experience is necessary, and we provide all tools and training.
Volunteers must be 18 or older to participate in construction activities. 16- and 17-year-olds can help with cleaning, clearing, landscaping, and indoor painting.
To inquire about available opportunities, email volunteer@nchfh.org or call (770) 252-9049 ext. 211 and provide your name, phone number, the days of the week you're typically available (Monday-Saturday), and any previous construction experience you may have.

Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Description
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community and all over the world, helping them build or improve a place they call home. Working alongside volunteers, Habitat homeowners put in hundreds of "sweat equity" hours as they help build their own homes. Homeowners then purchase their home and pay an affordable mortgage.
The self-empowerment created by this opportunity helps homeowner families eliminate barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life. We believe that with a little help, we all have the potential to stand on our own.
