Are you proud of the photos you take? Do you have a good eye for design, people and food? Do people say "wow!" when they see your photos? Would you like to help promote the vibrancy of Downtown Hillsboro businesses?
Hillsboro Downtown Partnership (HDP) is looking for a professional-ish volunteer photographer to help us promote the winners of this year’s Excellence in Downtown Hillsboro program.
Every year, Hillsboro Downtown Partnership honors businesses in downtown and along 10th street for their hard work and dedication to their respective communities. Businesses and individuals are nominated by the public and chosen by a panel of community members. COVID has taught us the importance of a strong online presence and we’d like to offer the winners a package of brag-worthy photos to post wherever business owners see fit.
Commitment: Very flexible. Photographers will shoot sometime between mid June to mid July at the winning business location. Exact date and time will be determined. There are 5 categories for the public to nominate for and HDP may honor ties.

The Hillsboro Downtown Partnership (HDP) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to making it easier, more enjoyable and more profitable to do business Downtown. We formed in December 2014, and began operations on September 1, 2015. We envision a thriving district of collaborative partners who embody community as an essential component of a vibrant and resilient Downtown Hillsboro, with HDP serving as the conduit for connections, engagement, and idea-realization. We believe a vibrant cultural district and town center is vital to our community and local economy. It enhances our quality of life and provides a sense of place, pride, and connection for us all. Hillsboro Downtown Partnership is ready to be the driving force to make this, and more, happen for our residents and visitors.

- Volunteers must use their own camera and post production photo editing software. Volunteers must wear comfortable clothing with no logos during the photo shoot.
