The pandemic has increased the loneliness of our elderly population. Millions of seniors are disconnected from friends and family, many without a computer or car to engage with the outside world. They feel forgotten. As a result, their emotional and physical health has been severely compromised. Loneliness-induced depression, heart disease, obesity, and other diseases have increased for seniors in the last few years.
Our weekly phone buddies provide a vital human connection to the most needy seniors in our society. You will be a lifeline - a warm voice, an empathic presence, a consistent and reliable friend.
