ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to offer all families, regardless of background or income, affordable early-childhood nurturing, education and recreation that stimulates healthy emotional and social development and helps prepare their children to excel in school and life.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the classrooms when agency is short staffed. May be just for a short period of time or for a entire day or more. It will vary depending on the agency needs.

Must be dependable, kind, and patient.
