LJL was founded to leverage technology to make languages more accessible to school-aged children. Our goal is to leverage natural language processing to translate English media to low-resource languages and vice versa, accelerating learning and increasing understanding of international cultures. Our goal is to enact long-term change. We aim to dispel the myths and stereotypes experienced by people who speak these languages as a result.

This is a nonpaid volunteer opportunity. This is a virtual opportunity. Flexible Hours

Anyone who is passionate about coding in any language but has a willingness to learn a new coding language. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions related to the job.

Volunteer hour certificates are shared for the number of hours you work.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the back end features of the applications owned by the organization such as APIs, server-side logic, etc

• Qualifications
• Experience in building backend services for Android and IOS applications
• Coordinate with other engineers in the organization to build an end-to-end application
• Fast Learner
