OIF Easter Basket Making Marathon - 31st Annual

Volunteers will assist in an "arts and crafts project" creating Easter baskets and filling them with grass, candy, toys, stickers, and a sealed toothbrush.



Who: One Incredible Family, Inc.'s mission is to serve the disenfranchised members of our global family, here in Los Angeles County, by producing holiday-themed community service projects, designed to teach volunteer activism on the grassroots level. These events bring the HOLIDAYS to those who may not otherwise celebrate such whether by intention, lack of means, or circumstance due to homelessness, loneliness, despair, apathy, disabilities, poverty, lack of family, or perceived lack of deservedness. And, with you by our side ... We ARE Making A Difference ... One Heart At A Time.



Why: This "Karma Yoga" (volunteer community service) event benefits disenfranchised and at-risk people in Los Angeles County. Volunteers will help these children and adults feel that they are deserving and worthy of attention, care, and celebration. And, enhance and strengthen their self-worth and dignity.



What's Expected: Volunteers will decorate Chinese take-out boxes and turn them into lovely Easter baskets. They will then fill the baskets with grass, candy, toys, stickers, and a sealed toothbrush.

What's Required:

No special skills or experience are required except an open heart and playful spirit!

Time Commitment is 3 hours minimum.
