Are you a Volunteer who lives in Portland, Oregon? Are you interested in helping animals in your hometown?
Animal Equality has launched a campaign to ban the sale of foie gras in the City of Portland and we need your help! Foie gras is French for "fatty liver" and is produced by force feeding ducks and geese until their livers expand up to 10 times their normal size. This cruel process can lead to numerous health issues and is extremely painful and distressing to the birds.
We're urging all residents to complete a few quick actions to defend ducks and geese in Portland. We know how much you care about the animals in your city and together we will fight to protect them! Please reach out to us to learn more about how you can get involved in this campaign.
