Craft amongst the Produce! Join the Museum of Craft and Design at AIM's Stonestown Farmers Market. Our Mobile MakeArt van will be at on site every fourth Sunday from 9am - 1pm distributing MakeArt Kits and activating craft and design concepts, and handing out FREE passes to the museum.

Vision:

The Museum of Craft and Design (MCD) makes creativity accessible to everyone.

MCD’s exhibitions and programs:

- Illuminate the creative process
- Question the conventional notion of art
- Inspire awe and spark curiosity
- Invite participation and collaboration
- Champion designers, makers, artists and risk-takers

MCD is the only San Francisco museum devoted exclusively to craft and design. Exhibitions present innovative craft and design in varied media, with interpretation and programs focusing on process and hands-on experiences. Since the museum's founding in 2004, MCD has dynamically brought arts programming outside of the museum walls and into community settings, engaging public events and spaces with a range of ideas, materials and processes.
