Our mission wouldn’t be possible without local community heroes. During our annual Red Cross Month celebration in March, we invite you to turn your compassion into action. There are many ways you can help neighbors in need, including through our most-needed positions.

Be part of our work to help save millions of lives each year by volunteering as a Blood Donor Ambassador and welcoming donors who give the gift of life.

Blood Donor Ambassadors welcome donors to blood drives and provide friendly support before and after they give. This can include helping donors to register, answering their questions and assisting them at the refreshments table.

Safety first! Volunteers serving in-person must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (except where contrary to current state or local regulations). Instructions for providing vaccination status and documentation will be provided once you complete your application.
