Teen Talk App is a place for teens to get support from trained peers in a safe, anonymous space. To become a trained teen you must be a current Freshman, Sophomore or Junior in High School. In addition, a completed application must be submitted by the deadline and if selected, you will be required to participate in an interview. If you are chosen for training, you will participate in a live, VIRTUAL training with a group of other teens that want to make a difference. Training covers mental health basics, crisis intervention, reflective communication and self care.

Training will take place virtually the week of July 11th and July 18th from 10:00am-2:00 pm (PST) during the following dates -

Monday, 7/11

Tuesday, 7/12

Wednesday, 7/13

Thursday, 7/14

Friday, 7/15

Monday, 7/18

Tuesday, 7/19

Wednesday, 7/20

Thursday, 7/21

Friday, 7/22

All training dates are mandatory. Following training we ask for a one year commitment, we ask that you complete at least 2 (2 hour) shifts per month and one continued education requirement per quarter.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, May 30th.

If invited, interviews will be held on Saturday, June 4th.
