Reaching out to Kansas City Area Parents and Adults asking for your continued assistance and support by opening up your home to host a foreign exchange high school student from one of over 70 countries around the world.

AFS Student Foreign Exchange ( ) is built and sustained by Parents and Adults like you who are actively supported by a local, experienced, volunteer AFS Team and AFS National Staff.

We have multiple ways for you to help us:

* Host a Student - In addition to all the great high schools that hosted this year, more schools have opened to having students for the 2022-2023 school year.

* Share bios - We are happy to send you flyers and bios of students to share on social media, at community events, or with friends and families.

* Promote AFS - by sharing your story of hosting or placing a yard sign in your yard;

* Volunteer - have you thought about joining our volunteer team to help with orientation, conduct interviews, or just share your ideas for activities for the students.

With more than 70 years of experience and 100 years of history, AFS is a leader in international high school exchange. Families and High Schools across the Kansas City and Metro Area have been great partners in working with local AFS volunteers to ensure that both local students and foreign exchange students gain the most from this cross-cultural hosting experience.
