Do you enjoy creating crafts for others to enjoy? If so, we have the volunteer position for you!
We would love for someone (or a small group of folks!) to make various crafts for our patients, to remind them that they are special to us and to help lift their spirits. Gifts to them, such as small wall hangings, crocheted caps, cookies, seasonal creations -- whatever you enjoy making -- would be such a blessing to them. Showing love in this way also uplifts the families of our patients!
Going through a hospice experience can be very stressful for patients and families, and providing occasional craft gifts to them can be treasured. Come and be a "craft angel" for and with us here at Kindful Hospice - fresh ideas are very welcome!

Please note: Normally, if you are making crafts at home or in our office, you would not have contact with our patients. However, if you have a letter of exemption for either medical or religious reasons, or have been fully vaccinated, including the booster shot, you would be able to hand deliver your precious gifts to them yourself if you would like to do so!

Description
Kindful Hospice serves older adults, the chronically ill, the seriously ill, and their families. Seriously ill patients and their families are always the center of our focus. Volunteers are a key and necessary part of hospice care, providing companionship, utilizing their talents in ways they feel most comfortable and within time frames that work well for each of them. People who volunteer truly give from the heart, and they are purpose driven, successful individuals. Serving as a hospice volunteer can certainly be one of the most meaningful experiences a person can have. Please join our team! Kindful has offices across Oklahoma, and our focus in the Western Region includes Chickasha, Marlow, Duncan, Lawton, and everything in between - we need volunteers in all of these areas to touch the lives of our patients and bring them joy.
