We are seeking volunteer coaches, unified partners, and running buddies for our Special Olympics Track team. Our team is comprised of youth and adults that are interested in learning the basics and improving their skills. We participating in running, jumping, and throwing events. The commitment is 10 weeks of Thursday evening practices and one Saturday competition in May.

Description
Lakewood's Therapeutic Recreation program offers Recreation and Leisure opportunities to individuals with disabilities in our community. Volunteer opportunities include special olympics sports, community outings, community dances, summer day camp and more!

- Practices are 1 hour per week. Thursdays 5-6pm. We will have a Saturday track meet on May 7th.
