MISSION
The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to preserve the land and restore the habitat for the education and enjoyment of all.
IMPACT
Share your love of nature with your local community by becoming a nature walk leader! Help us host free nature walks at various trails on the Peninsula every 2nd Saturday of the month.

Learn about our natural history from experts in the field!
Help spread awareness about Conservancy's efforts!
Visit the best spots to enjoy nature on the peninsula!
Become part of a great community of outdoor people!
Educate others on how to explore the trails responsibly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
No experience is required
Training will be provided.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and must attend both training dates on Oct 29 and Nov 5, 2022.
Location: Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy - Room 104 (916 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274)
Please note that materials for this event will need to be picked up from our main office anytime between 9 am and 5 pm Monday - Friday before the event.

Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
