You can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's by joining the Volunteer Walk Committee for the Walk to End Alzheimer's - San Diego.

THE WALK PLANNING COMMITTEE NEEDS YOU AS OUR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CHAIR!

In this role you will serve as a volunteer leader of the Community Engagement Committee.

The Community Engagement Committee is vital to the success of the Walk as it helps to increase awareness about the Walk to End Alzheimer's and our mission. The committee works on retention and recruitment of Walk teams, connecting with and getting to know our our Walk Champions members, and helping to organize a Community Kickoff event in the summer then having a wonderful time on Walk day!

As the Chair of this committee you will help recruit for and the lead the committee to success by ensuring all the necessary resourced so each member can recruit community teams, invite our past walkers back, implement marketing and awareness building campaigns, and more.

IS THIS YOU? Join a group of caring volunteers that are passionate about the cause and ending Alzheimer's. Doing so will help families everywhere facing this disease, include more than 60,000 right here in San Diego.

Training will be available and the time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours a week or 5+ hours a month. You will lead and attend approximately 4-6 committee meetings.
