Provide crisis intervention, support, resources and advocacy to domestic violence survivors at the time of a DV incident - on location at police departments within Union County OR remotely by phone.
Requirements include: a valid NJ driver’s license and access to a vehicle, criminal background check, 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training (virtual or in-person; offered quarterly), and a 1 year time commitment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly encouraged but not required.
Flexible scheduling: choose your 8-hour on-call shifts monthly (primarily evenings, weekends, overnight).
This program is based out of the Union County Family Justice Center.
